  That was a reaction to another round of sanctions they just implemented against Russia.
  But sure, sell it like another unprovoked Russian escalation.
  And 'let them be scared'?

      that's right, ebil Putin just woke up one morning and decided to invade Ukraine for no reason at all because Ruzzians are just a mindless horde of orcs coming from the jungle to threaten the great European garden

        While there were prior issues and lots of missed opportunity to create better relationship with Russia (Minsk, the defense initiative in the middle East against terrorism, etc. You probably have more examples than me ), none of theses justify to invade a country and steal lands for a second time and sending 1.5M of your comrades to the meatgrinder. Putain choose war over diplomatie, hoping to bring back the USSR splendor.
